From brachiopods seen in rocks around the lighthouse at Ulladulla, NSW.

Machine piecing, hand dyes with wool wadding, rayon and metallic threads and metallic gold paints.

The Earthskin series
Animals and plants once living are laid down as rock to give us evidence of this country's past history. I am interested in patterning in ways that are not usually accessed by quiltmakers. All fossils used in the work are Australian. For the Twist Exhibition, curated by Dijanne Cevaal, 2001.

Site design and development by Kate Andrews from te©hies.
