pathways - a walk through the australian landscape - contemporary quiltmaking from canberra by tACTile

contemporary quiltmaking from canberra by tACTile

The theme of the exhibition is Pathways in the Australian landscape and each artist has responded to the theme in an individual manner, producing 3 large quilts as well as contributing to a collaborative piece.

The individual works consist of fifteen modules - three x 2 metre quilts by each artist. The pieces are not traditional and are quite diverse in the approach to the theme, articulating literal, symbolic and metaphorical notions of pathways.

Pathways is travelling in Australia. You can contact us if a local gallery is interested, or see when it will be near you.
