The fossils were first seen in cliff and rocks on the beaches near Wynyard, Tasmania.

The Earthskin series
Animals and plants once living are laid down as rock to give us evidence of this country's past history. I am interested in patterning in ways that are not usually accessed by quiltmakers. All fossils used in the work are Australian. For the Twist Exhibition, curated by Dijanne Cevaal, 2001.

Site design and development by Kate Andrews from te©hies.
