The fossils were first seen in cliff and rocks on the
beaches near Wynyard, Tasmania.
Reverse applique and piecing. Hand dyes with wool wadding,
rayon and metallic threads and metallic gold paints.
The Earthskin series
Animals and plants once living are laid down as rock
to give us evidence of this country's past history.
I am interested in patterning in ways that are not usually
accessed by quiltmakers. All fossils used in the work
are Australian. For the Twist Exhibition, curated by
